Youth Girls Squad News

The WRFL and EDFL will again join forces to play as the Western Region Youth Girls in AFL Victoria's Metropolitan Chamopionships. Noel Cugley from EDFL club Pascoe Vale will coach the team, assisted by Altona's Shae-Lee Murphy-Burke.

Training will be held at Burnside Heights Reserve, Tenterfield Drive, Burnside Heights each Wednesday evening from 10th April, starting at 6.30pm.

An invitation is extended to all youth girls players registered with the WRFL to attend training and try out for the squad.

Please note that AFL Victoria has changed the age eligibility for this year's Youth Girls Metropolitan Championships. To be eligible a player must now be U16 as at 1st January 2013 (born in 1997, 1998 or 1999).

All players must read the Player Information Document prior to attending training. Do not commence the training program if you cannot commit to meeting all responsibilities and expectations detailed in this document.

Please wear your club jumper to training and bring your mouthguard to all sessions.
